James MacAbee

James MacAbee is a partner in the Franklin, Indiana law firm of Johnson, Gray & MacAbee. The majority of his practice is representing individuals in the family law area and the criminal law area. Jim received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University at Bloomington and his law degree from Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis. He was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1990 and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts, Northern and Southern Districts in Indiana. Jim is a member of the Indiana Bar Association; Johnson County Bar Association where he has served as an officer; and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Jim has been Death Penalty Qualified and has represented people facing capital punishment. Jim has represented people throughout Indiana including, but not limited to, the following counties: Marion, Hendricks, Boone, Morgan, Shelby, Hancock, Hamilton and Johnson.
